No Kings [crossed out crown]

October 18
11:30am-4pm

This is how we resist. This is how we build.

Abducting immigrants, deploying troops into cities, rigging maps, and defying the courts: we’re watching authoritarian power grabs in real time. On June 14, people from deep-red towns to our biggest cities joined No Kings, one of the largest single-day protests in U.S. history. On October 18 we return, better organized and backed by a nationwide coalition of 200+ groups, to make our message impossible to ignore: no to fascism and authoritarianism, no to racism and xenophobia, and no kings in the USA. Join us to plan, march, and build a future where every family can live with dignity and safety.

Democracy Academy

We’re calling it Democracy Academy — a series of action-focused workshops from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Lucie Stern Community Center, just a short walk from Rinconada Park. These sessions build the knowledge, skills, and tools we need to resist autocracy, rebuild democracy, and turn protest into lasting action.

All workshops are free but space is limited — RSVPs encouraged!
